Driver/warehouse personnel are an essential part of CED’s brand and customer service. We make sure to hire and train people who reflect the high-quality products we supply. In the warehouse, you will take on the responsibility receiving and shipping material while also assisting the Profit Center Manager in the day-to-day warehouse operations. As a delivery driver, you will impact the positive development of customer relationships through delivering and/or picking up, merchandise to and/or from, our customers in a prompt, efficient and professional manner. Counter Sales

As a counter sales representative, you will begin to develop relationships by waiting on customers arriving at the counter. It is your duty to handle all sales functions in a professional manner for counter customers by providing efficient service to achieve maximum sales and customer satisfaction. In counter sales, it is important to exhibit a positive, friendly and helpful attitude with customers and be sensitive to their needs. Your growing knowledge of electrical supplies will allow you to determine merchandise required by customer and suggest alternative or additional items related to the order. Inside Sales

Our sales teams work together to resolve customer problems by providing extensive knowledge of electrical products and their functions. As an inside sales representative, you will grow CED’s customer base by working to find new opportunities while also supporting current customers in growing their business. Successful inside sales reps are outgoing, personable, and self-motivated. Outside Sales

As an outside salesperson for CED you will grow our business by marketing, promoting and profitably selling products to both existing and potential customers. Your extensive knowledge of electrical products and their functions will allow you to develop relationships with customers to maximize sales volume. Identifying business opportunities/prospects will allow you to perform a variety of business development and outside sales activities. Successful outside sales representatives build rapport with their customers by providing quotes, preparing proposals and providing them with information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates. Accounts Payable/Operations

The Accounts Payable position is vital to CED’s success. Your ability to complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, and verifying all profit center invoices is an essential job function. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you must reconcile accurate financial data to be maintained for future use. Management Trainee

We’re still growing. We need talented new leaders to help shape our future. CED’s competitive management training program teaches top candidates every skill for every job in every facet of our fast-paced, profitable industry. We hire a small number of new trainees each year — self-motivated, sales-oriented, geographically flexible men and women who possess an entrepreneurial spirit. We immerse candidates into the electrical distribution industry through four structured phases that include on-the-job, home and classroom training. You will attend multiple training courses throughout the 2-2 ½ year program (around 7-15 annually) that include traveling to cities across the country. Recruits often build relationships with their fellow trainees that help them through the program, and through their careers. No prior experience is necessary; we’ll give you the tools and resources you need to become an industry expert! Successful completion of the program will lead to you managing your own CED profit center.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree is required. Sales and leadership experience and/or a business or sales degree is preferred.
